Isotretinoin is a name known to one and all acne sufferers. It is an oral drug used for the treatment and prevention of severe acne. Accutane is a revolution in itself in the world acne treatments. I have no qualms in giving this product a five star rating.
The exact mechanism of action of isotretinoin is not known; however, it is believed to reduce acne by reducing the secretion of sebum. If less sebum is secreted it is likely that there will be less inflammation and therefore less acne.
Accutane is a high end substance for treating acne. However, if you have sensitive skin, this product may not suit you.
