The active ingredients in Acnomel are resorcinol 2 % and sulfur 8 %. This combination is used to treat acne and similar skin problems. Acnomel is an excellent product for adult acne and rosacea. Resorcinol and sulfur are two great anti acne agents. Both these components make Acnomel one of the best cream to fight acne. It is the sulfur in it that reduces inflammation and redness. It also helps with skin texture. Like in the case of benzoyl peroxide, you have to build up tolerance towards this medication so, its best if you use it gradually. Sulfur is an old fashioned remedy for skin disorders, but it is more easily tolerated than benzoyl peroxide.
